Panasonic was showing off their new 3MOS camcorders at PMA 2010 with features that bridge the gap between a consumer camcorders and HDSLR’s. The two new 3MOS models feature low-noise CMOS sensors making them ideal for low-light applications. The camera’s also feature 1080/60p recording for ultra smooth high-definition video, stereo recording with 5.1-channel audio, stereo line-up, and manual controls over exposure, shutter, and focus.

    @PepperRoni20, I am using a brand new 2.8 Ghz, 6 GB ram, 9500 series video card, Sony Vegas 9.0B editor, a Powerspec quad core PC running Windows XP pro. It is not the PC, it is the extreme compression of this AVCHD format. I can edit MJPEG all day at 1920 by 1080 at the speed of light!

    They don’t tell you …
    They don’t tell you about the FAN that is noisy enough to be heard when shooting in a quiet environment. NO THANK YOU. I went to SD card technology to get away from the noises produced by tape drives, fans, etc. They ruined a great camcorder for me.
    I believe this is why they never mention the FAN in demos and descriptions of the product.

    Is it 64gb or 32gb that’s included? on the website it shows 32gb included..
    Also how long does the standard battery hold and what’s the extended battery part number. I’m getting this next month..
